After prospects have been added to your funnel It is now time to start the qualification process. This stage is where most of your work happens. The faster you can filter leads, the quicker you can move them down the funnel to convert the lead into an actual sale. You must communicate with prospects at this stage.

You can ask them questions or ask them about what content they enjoy. Your users experience should be top-notch. Engage them (sometimes termed as nurturing) via an activity in your website, such as an online competition, via your blog or video( you would like to encourage them to leave comments), via online chat and the likes. This is the way to building a loyal customer base.

It is now that they are engaged, the key to providing value to your leads. You can give infographics, reports and tip sheets to your leads. You can move up the funnel by adding value.

Make everyone smile! It is essential that your clients are satisfied every time they visit your site. Finally, remember to send thank-you emails to customers who take the time to communicate with you. This will help your business stand out.

4. Intent

The potential buyer has already made a decision to purchase the product. They must now determine which one is the best for them. Your blog posts will create faith in the readers about the superior products and services you provide. An email newsletter can help your brand stand out as an expert.

5. Evaluation

The potential customer is already convinced they need a product like yours. In this moment, you're trying to convince your prospect that you're the right person to do the job and not anyone else. You can do that by using a variety of content. These include reports on specific products, webinars, free or low cost consultations or limited time offers or coupons that encourage purchase right now.

6. Purchase Stage

This is where your prospect actually purchases. But it's not over. Your sales funnel begins again. Your client must be moved onto other products and into a new funnel. Customers who have purchased from you before are more likely to purchase from you again because they have faith in you and can believe that you can solve their problems.

An effective sales funnel can place your business on autopilot and consistently turn leads into customers when you structure it correctly.
