Jeopardy presenter Alex Trebek passed away on Sunday at the age of 80 after battling pancreatic cancer.
The Canadian-born Trek has hosted the popular game show since 1984 and directed more than 8,000 episodes. He had remained optimistic throughout his treatment and had shot his last show just 10 days before his death. This episode is said to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
Trebek’s popularity with fans was certainly evident in response to social media sharing. Obviously, he was so much more than just a game show host.
